Homeland Security Training Center presented by George Coxey | ||
George Coxey is the Chair of Criminal Justice, Fire and Emergency Technologies at Owens Community College. He holds several degrees including a Masters of Arts in Public Administration, Bachelor of Science in Police Science and he graduated from teh FBI National Academy. He has held positions ranging from Chief of Police to International Police Advisor for the US Department of Justice and State. IT Security Indepth presented Bob Vish from McAfee Security | ||
| Bob Vish is a Senior Security Engineer with the IT Security Company McAfee. He provides network and systems security consulting to state, local and federal government agencies as well as Fortune 1000 companies. Bob has over 20 years experience in IT systems, working at companies like General Motors, Apple Computer, Microsoft and Xerox, developing his computer and networking forensic experience in real world settings, not just the classroom. He attended Western Michigan University for Mechanical Engineering, and has taken numerous specialized training courses in the fields of system and network forensic investigations. Bob has earned several security and forensic credentials, including an ISC2 CISSP, and CompTIA Security+. He is also a member of ISSA. Additionally, Bob is a sworn law enforcement officer with the Oakland County Michigan Sheriff’s Office, serving as a Deputy in the department since 2000. Mr. Vish will discuss "IT Defense Indepth" by explaining
how one of the world's top IT Security companies secure itself. The
presentation will NOT focus on McAfee products, but on technologies,
policies, and procedures needed to secure a high profile organization. |
